This session explores how Out-of-School Time (OST) workers play a vital role in promoting positive behavior by collaborating effectively with school administrators and teachers. Participants will learn strategies to align after-school practices with the school’s behavioral expectations and social-emotional goals. Through discussion and scenario-based learning, OST staff will identify ways to communicate student needs, reinforce positive behavior systems, and maintain consistency between the school day and after-school environment. By strengthening partnerships with school staff, OST workers help build a unified culture of respect, belonging, and accountability that supports every student’s growth and success.
