    Hi! Is there a way for providers to see all their staff progress at-a-glance? Or do the accounts just let us review our own trainings?

    Hi @jcrumlegacy!

    Yes! If you are assigned as a site or program leader, you can see the training transcript for your staff.
    – You must be logged in.
    – Select the Profile button at the top right of your screen.
    – Scroll down to the Plugin Dashboard and you can see all registered users as well as filter or search for a specific site or staff member.

    Right now you are not assigned as a site or program leader. If you email us at phmcost@foundationsinc.org with your program and/or site information, we will coordinate with you to get the appropriate access.

    Do I need to be a subscriber to listen to the podcast?
    If you are listening on Apple Podcasts app or web browser you will have to sign in/create an account but if you are listening on Spotify app or web browser you do not have to sign in. You can also click on the Podcasts+ page and access the episodes from there.

    Where do I go to find the resources and handouts for a course?
    When you go to the On-Demand Training page and start one of the courses, it will take you to that respective course’s homepage. From there you will see two tabs, Course and Materials. Click on the Materials tab and it will show you all the materials associated with that specific course.

    How soon do I receive the certificate once I complete the On Demand course?
    Once you have completed any on-demand course, you should receive your certificate instantaneously. To find your certificates, go to your Profile and click on Certificates. Upon completion of a course you will find your training certificate there.

    If I post a topic in PhilaDiscuss and people respond, will I receive notification of those responses?
    Yes, however when you make the initial post you need to make sure you check the box that says “Notify me of follow-up replies via email”. Additionally you can also do this same action when you reply to someone’s post.

    Can users drop links in threads on PhilaDiscuss?
    Yes, when creating an initial thread you can paste the link in the post. When you are responding, you have a few more options. Click on the LINK button above the space where you write your post, paste the URL, and then write Link Text to display. See the example below:

    This Link will take you to the PhilaDiscuss Homepage

    Can I get contact information for others I communicate with on PhilaDiscuss? Will I have any other information about those I am engaging with there (site, program, etc.)?
    No, PhilaDiscuss doesn’t allow you to access contact information. You can click on the username and see any information the user has included in their profile, including their name, organization, website, etc.

    Is leadership able to assign trainings to their staff on the site?
    No, we don’t current have an automated feature that allows you to assign courses in the platform. You can require your staff to complete courses and see their completion status on the profile page.

    Are PHMC required trainings on this site?
    a.) Cityspan has a recording available for your reference in the resource library Cityspan Resource, but you cannot obtain a certificate for viewing this. You must attend live.

    b.) Accommodations 101 and Inclusivity 101 are required annually for all staff in direct service with youth. They are only available live. You can view upcoming courses here for both Cityspan, Accommodations 101, and Inclusivity 101 here: View Upcoming Courses .

    Can staff earn certificates for training provided by themselves using the trainer action packs?
    a.) PHMC allows program leaders to provide training for their staff that meets the hourly requirements, The Dash is not issuing certificates for those trainings. Leaders can use the trainer action packs to provide this training and they will have to issue their own certificates.

    b.) The certificates can be uploaded by the staff to their profiles to ensure that all of their completed hours are recorded in one place.

    If my account was set up on my behalf, what is my username?
    a.) Your username will be the capital letter of your first name, followed by your last name in all lowercase. If you have multiple or hyphenated last names, your first last name was used.
    b.) If there were multiple people with that username, your username may also have a number.
    c.) For example, if your name is Hillary Jones-Lewis, your username could be Hjones2.

    Is anyone else having trouble with the on-demand trainings? I watched the video after pressing start course but am unable to continue to the next lesson and my progress bar doesn’t move even after I finish watching the attached video.

    Hello! Thank you for your comment. We’ve been alerted that some on-demand courses were not functioning properly. We’ve been working to correct these issues and can update you soon as to when the matter has been fully addressed. Could you share what courses you experienced this issue in? We’d like to cross reference and make sure that we repairing the courses affected. Thank you!
